I don’t know about the EW, but I do know alot of guys are still using a 302. Sounds like more bull**** designed to make us buy new gear. IGC sure likes to screw things up.


Before your blood pressure gets too high, if you look at the documents
Ian pointed you at you will see that for the 302 and the EW micro the
change is lowering the approval from

IGC Level 1 (all flights including world records)

to

IGC Level2 (all IGC badges and distance diplomas)

so you can probably just carry on as normal.
