3:22 p.m. August 10, 2004

SAN DIEGO – Four Navy aviators were listed as missing Tuesday when
they failed to return to the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis, the
Navy said.

The four were aboard a S-3B Viking conducting a routine training
mission in the western Pacific Ocean as part of joint U.S. military
air and sea exercises.
