So lets suppose that someone, oh say Al-Qaeda manages to highjack
a 747 inbound for Auckland. This is discovered when they are 30
minutes from touchdown or impact or whatever it is they are planning to
do.
What does the NZ DOD plan to do about it these days?

IBM

The plan is to sit down and calmly negotiate with the inbound terrorists is
a loving, trusting and supporting atmosphere where an open and free
exchange of feelings is encouraged.

If there isn't a supportive negotiator on the flight, the in flight
telephones are a cost effective alternative. In this way - a
mutually acceptable solution can be achieved without the need for expensive
or obsolescent weapon systems.

In Australia, our negotiators fly Hornets.
