Parachute Recomendations
My son and I have just joined a Soaring club and are planning to buy a
parachute. We are looking for recommendations on what would be the best chute and where we can buy one. Both of us are around 170 lbs. The club we have joined owns a Blatnik L-23, L-13, and a Pilatus B-4. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, -- Mike Schumann |

Thanks, -- Mike Schumann Probably the most important thing you can do to make a selection is to figure out what is most comfortable. I recommend experimenting with some of your club member's parachutes to see what works for you. Try them on and sit in the glider you will be flying most. If you will be spending many hours in the cockpit the last thing you need is for your back to start hurting or your rear to go numb. Respectfully, |
