While the other photos were without a doubt,
I.m not so sure that this one is Mt Fuji.


the Mustangs are out of proportion to the Mountian.
there also appear to be trees in the image..(along with dirt
or scratchs on the image.)
Most of Fuji is above the treeline..
the slope and the summet do not appear correct.

ALSO:
the engineer Col Jack Ridley, who was so instrumental
to the success of the Bell X-1 test program and help to Chuck Yeager
was killed, when a C-47 he was a passenger aboard, flew into the slope
of Mt Fuji in 1957
( Yeager).

You could be right but I got the picture by mail with this tittle: 1947 FUji
9882.
That's why I added it in this series.
