Default Hey, Bob (not my real pseudonym), ... about Boeing 787

Are you going to live in a tent aside Paine Field fence?
Cool clip on TV today with nose wheels off tarmac.

I've got other stuff happening much of this week, and the weather
isn't looking overly promising for a first flight on Tuesday as
promised by Santa Boeing - but hope to at least get to Boeing Field
for the landing if I can.

If nothing else, I'll get to see all of the 787s in the test program
over the next few months.

And can't believe it's been over 15 years since the last new Boing was
fledged...

Great, Bob. Weather does look poor...... But we'll take landing photos
if you can get 'em. Wear your longjohns.

Argh. But she sure looked purdy on the toob.

I think I finally figured out what I like most about the 787 - she has
that beautiful DeHavilland Comet nose shape. Sexy wings, too.

And here are the Boeing chase planes used today - though photographed
17 years ago...

Enjoyed your T-33's! My eyes bugged out to see them in chase today.
Especially
when they followed take-off roll with their gear and flaps down. (toob of
course)
If I had a penny for every gallon of JP-4 I poured in T-33 tanks, I
could buy
a really nice new camera. (or go south until wx 70F and winter over)
