EASA has issued an Airworthiness Directive concerning some parachutes
produced between 4 april 2008 - 15 january 2010. The defect is a serious one: the canopies might not deploy. Types: Slimpack t204 and Thinback t104, serial numbers from 41495 to 41776. in this online catalog, in the first two lines, two examples of the concerned parachutes (no pun intended on the seller, it's just for illustration) http://www.friebe.aero/Survival_Equi...6,0,0,0,2.html the EASA A.D. http://www.google.it/url?sa=t&source...tNxNkIaPtMn0gQ Aldo Cernezzi |

It also asks to include stamps for sending it back to you, which probably is not very practical for someone living outside of Germany. There is also an E-Mail adress included to contact in order to discuss this matter beforehand. Peter Scholz |
