Tom - 100309-N-0000S-002 AFGHANISTAN (Mar. 9, 2010) An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Pukin Dogs of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 143 flies over the mountains of Afghanistan. VFA-143 is embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
