Big gathering at our airfield today: Waco, short-wing Pipers, a princely
PA-12, Luscombes, polished aloonyum Swift, Cubs, a covey of ultralights, and a ragged out 310 over in the weeds with two-doglegged props and a klapsed nosegear. They came in to enjoy our second Indian summer and $100 burger. The 310 owner is not too happy. Intimidating. Just intimidating. Too intimidated even to go fishin'. |

Wish I could have been there, especially to meat you. The first airplane I owned was a Super Cruiser (PA-12). A great airplane. Did a lot of glider towing with them two (or is that to, too, 2, or II ?) up to 180 hp. What happened that makes you think the 310 owner is not too hapy? Regards, O-ring Seals |
