How are these things being repaired, with a 1"-wide aluminum sheet doubler
sandwiched between the corrugated skins? That's what one of the IA's here suggests, other than replacing the skins, which would cost an arm and a leg. TIA. |

Another option (more expensive) would be to install the trailing edge bead sold by BAS I think. It stiffens the trailing edge and helps to prevent cracks, dents, bends. About $80 to $100 bucks for the two beads then the labor to split the skins and install them. -- Dale L.
