Should this contest be called the first US Club Class Nationals? See
http://race.chilhowee.com/contestants.html . 65% of the current registered pilots are flying Club Class gliders under the old rules! Looks like there was no need trying to add new D2's and ASW27's as Club Class eligible gliders. Sean Franke |

Seriously, with 85 registered for Perry at the moment, there will be a large influx of registrants shortly I would think. It's still heartening to see a large number of club class planes coming, though. I'm really looking forward to the contest. -- Matt |

Sean Franke It should at least crown a Club Class National Champion ... in addition to Sports Class National Champion. We've got 18 Club Class ships signed up for the Moriarty Super Regional with 7 more Club Class spots available. I will do my darndest to join the Club Class party in TN. Tim McAllister EY |
