How long dose it take to get the registration card?

The FAA Cashed my check for registration how long dose it take to get the
registration card? How long dose it take to show up on the faa site ect.

It took mine about 4 months to arrive.

Mine only took 2 weeks. I happened to know of another plane that was
sold a few weeks before I bought my plane (because I almost bought it
myself) and I watched the database expecting to see it show up before
mine. Turns out after they moved it to Washington State it took them
a few months to set up a sham corp in Oregon to avoid the Washington
sales tax before they could mail in the forms...

Then if you're really obsessed you can see how long it takes for sites
that cache the data (like logshare.com) to update from the FAA db...

I sent my registration in for a plane I bought on Feb. 16. It just showed the
change on the FAA website yesterday. Now waiting for the paperwork to put in
the plane

The airplane I sold three weeks prio - still shows me as the owner. Don't know
when the current owner sent it in or if he has.

Mine took about 4 weeks.

I mailed mine in to OK City on December 30th and got the card back
about seven weeks later. Searched my tail number on Landings today
and indicated that it was registered on February 17th. Just a
calibration.

I closed on my airplane on January 29th and got my registration last week
(March 25th)

I sent my registration in on 1 March, it appeared in the registry (as
registered, not just that they rec'd it) on 17 March, I got the card in the
mail on the 19th!!!!

Last summer, after discovering that the FAA got our check but seemed to
have "misplaced" the application, we put in a new application. We got a
temporary registration in about 1 week. It took about 3 weeks to get a
certified fax copy (needed to overfly Canada on the way to OSH). I
think our actual registration came about 3 weeks after that.
