What is the secret on removing a kx155 radio from the tray. I know
that it takes a long small screwdriver... but I can't seem to get it to work? |

You need a 3/32 allen wrench.

I think that you were right anyway. Allen is to Hex as Clorox is to bleach.
The important thing is not to mangle up the head with a phillips screwdriver before learning that it is an "internal wrenching hex bolt"! Mike MU-2 "zatatime" wrote in message ... I know that it takes a long small screwdriver... but I can't seem to get it to work? iirc, there isn't a screw, just some plastic thing that only needs a 90 degree turn to release the radio. Exactly. There is a latching mechanism. Don't try to thread the entire bolt out. All it needs is a 1/4 to 1/2 turn. This is different than some other radios, which do have the bolt threading into the rack. -Nathan |
