Looking for a good used hand held Icom - vertex something in those line.

Keep an eye out on eBay for an ICOM A-14 (or similar) with lithium
battery. Lithium is important because they always come with a smart
charger so you can keep it on charge all the time (unlike the dumb
bricks that came with ni-cd packs).

Not too expensive as compared to new and I have never been burned when
purchasing from eBay.
