I see HP has introduced the HP Compaq tr3000 (apparently named after a
breadmaking machine). It is supposed to be a 'rugged' tablet PC, capable of being left out in the rain, dropped from three feet, etc., and generally exceeding milspec standards for hardiness. The 8" screen is supposed to be readable outdoors. I was wondering how well this machine would work as an electronic flight bag, running Jeppview, for example. And no, I am not interested in extending the Windows vs. everybody else debate. If the sole purpose of your reply is to tell me what a piece of (#*$ Windows is, you can keep your opinion to yourself. -- Christopher J. It appears to be about $3600, but I expect the price will come down in a few
months. "Jay Honeck" wrote in message news:BQZ6c.49534$po.454261@attbi_s52...
