Tenjoyed having mySUAs... thanks for theservice
XCSkies -also not sure what to do there.
@Darryll - thanks for the rationality regarding xponders and stuff
@BobK PARTS!, NOT CHARTS! Thanks for that. DO ers rock! tooo many cool things to design, build/fly. Not enough time (ever, no matter ow long you have.
Just so ya'll don't have to sit around asking WTF?, I've got a brain tumor (subtle, eh?) that will limit my further participation, in much of anything.
I anted to fly all my life, and for the last dozen years, I think I've had THE BEST kind offlying. I don't know of anyone who njoyed it more than me, but I'm optimistic and pleased to believe in my guts that so many of you come close.
WE do a thing that's joe average (poor *******!) will NEVER get. Pretty f'ing close to magic.

Jim,

Wish you all the best! Please let us know how the fight goes. Always a place in our two place if you want to fly.

Jim,

Sorry to hear that. Keep your chin up, keep us updated, and know that glider pilots all around the world are wishing you the best.

Jim:

It's been good to know you and fly with you out of Tonopah. I have chuckled over many of your writings for years. As long as you can put fingers to keyboard, we all would love to hear your observations on developments, both personal and in our sport. We will all make the same final glide you are embarked upon now: some of us will not see it coming while others will have your advance warning. We aspire to your sense of equanimity. You have our best wishes. Fred

Us, too, Jim, from Dan and Patti. Hope to see you at the ground launch

Jim,

I don't think that I've flown with anybody that's enjoyed soaring more than you. We missed you at Tonopah this year. You've inspired a new batch of xc pilots in our club. It was fun to see them go out and fly hard.

Jim,

You've been the go-to-guy, for repairs, designs, or bargains of any kind.
Did you name or train a successor?

And how about that 'low cal' cheese cake recipe?
It's not going to get lost is it?

You're The Man. We'll all miss you. I miss you already!

Guy
