It looks as if it could have stood some major aerodynamic cleanup --
especially around the leading edge fuselage/wing juncture and the rest
of that juncture as well. Didn't blackburn ever hear of fillets?

Looking at one of their subsequent offerings (in which I flew a few
times) I would suggest that aerodynamics weren't their strongest point!
