CHEROKEEE NATIONAL FLY-IN & CONVENTION - A BIG SUCCESS
The second annual Cherokee National Fly-In & Convention, June 18 - 20,
was held at the renowned Tan-Tar-A resort in Osage Beach, Mo. Over 135 PA28 and PA32 aircraft, and 300 people attended the Fly-In which was based at the Grand Glaize airport (K15). The Saturday evening guest speaker was Karl Bergey, chief designer with Piper (retired), responsible for the design and development of the Cherokee line of aircraft. Over 40 vendors donated goods or attended as exhibitors. This year's event drew almost twice the attendance over last year. Thanks to all who came out to join us.
