I'd signed up for the Cub on Sunday afternoon, then the AOPA emailed
me the news that Bush 43 was to visit Bush 41 in Kennebunkport and do
some New Hampshire politicking this weekend (New Hampshire, believe it
or not, is a battleground state). Gloom! Your everyday TFR based on
Pease PSM shuts down most of southern New Hampshire and a piece of
Maine.

Then came the devastation at Pensacola. Now it seems that the
president will have to "assess" the hurricane damage this weekend
(Florida of course is a larger battle ground state).

Hooray!

Hot here last night, pouring rain this morning. I hope Ivan clears out
in the next 24 hours.
