There was a thread not very long ago about the relative (un)safety
performance of light aircraft. Some posters compared GA with motorcycles, cars etc etc Now, last saturday there was a safety related article about Xmas decorations in our newspaper. It appears that every hour two to three US citizens are hospitalized or at least need medical care because of doing clumsy things with their Xmas decorations. I hope that every one of them is not hurt too bad and they can enjoy too much greasy food with their families in about 10 days. Anyway, I'm going to keep my decorations where they are. No, I'm going to fly as much as I can the next days. Much safer. If my plane was not in the shop, if that fog is going to clear and if I can find some time. -Kees |
