Default L nav display question

I have started flying a glider with a L-Nav and hav a question regarding L Nav speed command bar graph.

How do I read it all I see in the manual is a black bar but, what does that mean?

Default L nav display question

Multiple bars appear either above or below the zero line depending on
the either "slow-down", or "speed-up commands.

Cambridge developed a simple html-based software demo that should
answer your questions.
