Partly to blame are the people who insist on building suburbs around
airports. They weren't there when the airport opened. As usual, I expect
this fact will be overlooked when people cite the accident as a reason
the airport should be closed.

Pilots always mention this, but I remind them how well that argument
worked for the Native Americans. Might makes Right.

Anyway the point is the tiny minority exists at the pleasure and
tolerance of the overwhelming majority. In our case, General Aviation at
the tolerance of the vast non-flying public. Fly lightly.
