Late March Mid Atlantic FIRC

If you need your Flight Instructor's Certificate Revalidated, there will be a FIRC in the Mid-Atlantic area later this month. There are still places available.

The Soaring Safety Foundation (SSF) will present a Flight Instructor's
Revalidation Clinic on March 21-22, 2015. The Clinic will be hosted by the Tidewater Soaring Society in Windsor, VA

The FIRC will be held in the TSS clubhouse and presented by Rich Carlson of the SSF and other speakers. The clinic will cost $150 which goes to the SSF to
support future clinics and other SSF activities. The SSF has begun to
use much more scenario based training so this clinic will more interactive
than those in the past.

The clinic will run from 8 AM to 5:30 PM on Saturday, Mar 21 and
8 AM - 5 PM on Sunday, Mar 22. At the end of the clinic, your instructor's
certificate will be re-validated on site without your having to go to
a FSDO as in the past.

Any flight instructor (airplane, glider, rotorcraft, etc) can use this FAA approved 2-day class to review their certificate. The $150 registration fee covers the cost of materials and supplies. The clinic is not only for
CFI's, any pilot interested in the topics and flight safety may attend.
