Fallstreak clouds
Not really soaring related but I saw four of these today while out for a run. They looked almost exactly like the linked photo, including being very near the edge of an approaching cloud deck. There were other interesting features in the clouds but I didn't have a camera with me. My non-soaring friends wouldn't have given the clouds a second glance. That bit about flying and eyes turned forever skyward is so true. Carry on.
