Spoofing Flarm

Hi Race Fans, We got tinfoil covered antennas, what other FARTS (Flarm Arms Race Tactics) can we think of? Maybe we can think of a way to spoof our opponents Flarms. C'mon, who'll be first (or maybe someone already has)?

I suggest putting the slowest competitor's call sign in to your PFlarm config file, makes you a non-target for leeches. Change the call sign every day to whoever is in last place to further confuse your unsuspecting buddies. In addition, make your call sign on the tail illegible by adding small black stripes to the numbers/letters.

Great ideas! Not really applicable to me, though. At the last contest, by popular vote, I was forced to change my call sign to "Never Follow".

How about fabricating and broadcasting false flarm data that makes the lead pilot think they are in danger of imminent collision every few minutes? That should raise the stress level a bit...

Or just multiply your climb rate by -1
