Eurofighter Typhoon Simulator

I loved the first two EF2000 games, less for their choice of subject
than their approach to flight simulation. I had considered getting
the third game, Typhoon, but thought otherwise when I read reviews
indicating that the pretensions of realism of the earlier games were
gone in Typhoon, leaving a sim with arcade like realism. Knowing that
their hasn't been much of a market for stand-alone (single plane)
simulations since Falcon 4, I'm not optimistic that a promising sequel
to EF2000 will ever see the light of day. Has anybody heard
otherwise?
