Default FS2004 Patches and Next Version

Are there any patches for FS2004?

When is the next great FS2005 or whatever being released? I can't wait.

M$ has an update patch for FS2k4 on their website. A few bugfixes,
mostly cosmetic (bridge corrections, etc.)

no patch, though there is a service pack/upgrade available.

No announcement on a new major version of the product has been made. If
Microsoft keeps up their current release cycle expect a pre-announcement
sometime next spring with a release half a year after that (so october 2005
give or take a month).

Thanks. I noticed that after installing the update I seem to orbit around
a flying plane much faster in the Chase Plane view. Going from wingtip to
the other wingtip is superquick.

No Patch.... Of course it's a patch jeroen. Please take a dose of
reality will ya...

That is like saying a progressive is not a LIBERAL...

No Patch....

Stop the PC Madness....

Update Patch....

yeah I guess no one can call an update a patch anymore huh jeroen...

Funny Post.

As for the PATCH, which states he
http://www.microsoft.com/games/fligh.../downloads.asp

1) Addressed slow frame rates for flights repeatedly in and out of a
common area. Frame rate decreases have been corrected by fixes to
Autogen scenery behavior and memory allocation.

2) Addressed product stability issues that were due to changes of
season in particular airport environments. Users will experience stable
and consistent behavior when changing the time and season across any of
the airports at any level of scenery detail.

3) Addressed additional product stability issues tied to various
features throughout the product."

So jeroen, please tell me the definition of FIXES as used on Microsofts
own site.... get real....

"Frame rate decreases have been corrected by fixes to Autogen scenery
behavior and memory allocation."

They had memory holes and the season problem.....
An update amd mot a patch... Bwahahahhahaah.....

Oh yeah, you do realize there is evidence that Microsoft has used the
words UPDATE and PATCH to mean the same thing, don't you?

I mean, any LOGICAL person can see Microsoft has set precedents for use
of the words Patch and Update. Please......

Unless, of course you require me to show proof of such which I will be
happy to do.

Let me know jeroen.

Joe
