Tow plane for sale -- Ely Jet Center

Subject: Tow Plane for Sale - Ely Jet Center

To Members of the Soaring Community:

This is an alert to the soaring community that a tow plane is for sale at
Ely Jet Center, Ely, Nevada. (For those of you who flew out of EJC, it is
the "red and yellow" Piper Pawnee.)

As most of you know, Lee Hallerberg, owner of EJC, passed away in February
2016. As you were advised some weeks ago, EJC was then sold to American
Medflight (a long-time tenant of EJC). American Medflight is wholly
supportive of the summer soaring program; however, they chose not to
include the two tow planes in their purchase of EJC. For this reason, the
remaining Pawnee (the red and yellow one) is for sale, hopefully to a
glider pilot (or group of you) so that tow services could resume at Ely (or
support soaring elsewhere).
