1200lb Zenith Ch701

Any news if the 701 will have its` weight increased from 1100lb to
1200lb for the new Sports Plane Cat.

I don't _mean_ to be rude, but why not ask Chris.

Back when I was going to build the 701, they increased the gross to 1100
for sport pilot, mostly from thicker or stronger fittings and parts
where needed. I don't think they're going to increase it any more
without major redesign.

Thanks Richard, I just did that a year a go and Zenith said No plans.
But some times there are spies with some inside info!.
Also I was looking for some with over weight planes to speak-up.
Would most 701 owner like to increase to 1200?.

I looked carefully at the 701 as a possible next project.
But the 1100 pound gross weigh was not the deciding issue.
