Hey guys and girls,
A friend and I would like to crawl some junkyards for inspiration, possibly parts that catch our eye, and frankly because we really want to. Are there still places around (let's say within a couple hours' drive of the LA area) that will let you wander and rummage? We're not after anything in particular, just a fun afternoon in a yard to see what's out there for when we need it. Pick-Your-Part is always great fun, but we're after airplane parts. Any recommendations? Does Aviation Warehouse in El Mirage cater to guys like us? I've heard some places (like Av. Warehouse) don't sell parts to be used for flying aircraft. That's perfectly fine - we're not necessarily looking for flight worthy parts. Thanks! -Tony |
