LXe/LX5000 question

I added several airports to the "User Database" section of the Airports page
in LXe, but when I transfer the airports data to the LX5000, the user
airports do not appear in the Near Airports page on the instrument. Does
anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or how I can fix this?

Also, I thought that turnpoints that are airfields, and landable turnpoints,
would appear in the Near Airports listing. This isn't happening either.
However the turnpoints data in the instrument was imported from a Cambridge
(.DAT) file, not an LX Nav (.DA4) file. I'm going to upload the .DA4 version
of the file today and see if the landable turnpoints show up in the Near
Airports page (this is something I really, really need).
