So Calif Awards Lunch - Last Call

Have you made a reservation for our annual Region 12 Awards Banquet
at the Proud Bird Restaurant, near LAX on Sunday, Nov 7th, from 11 am
to 4 pm?

In addition to the usual socializing with fellow glider pilots, great
food, drinking and discussion of awards and notable flights over the
past year, SSA Executive Director Dennis Wright will finish up a
several day visit to Region 12 by joining us, to present his views of
where our organization is going, and answer questions in a "town
meeting" type forum.

He is visiting most Region 12 soaring sites Nov. 5 and 6, but this is
your chance to say hello, if you missed him at the field.

For three years now, RESCO has charged no cash dues. All activities
are supported by participation at the social and educational events.
Please join us for fun and stories.

We need to supply the restaurant with a planned attendance number by
Monday, Nov. 1st. Please let me know by return email before Sunday,
and I will hold a seat for you. Family and friends are welcome - just
bring your check to the door for us.
