Cool.
Are you developing this to be a product for adoption on experimental gliders? Will it have sufficient power for self launch or just as sustainer? |

Yes, its intended to be sold and installed on experimental gliders. I am not planning to make a supplemental type certificate for now. Depending on you need. We can build the battery pack for self launch capabilities or to optimize range for sustainer only. Regards |

Here is a short video of the pylon's manual operation. https://youtu.be/a90EUIrYEYw The retraction is done manually with a lever in the cockpit? Yes, the motor is extended and retracted manually.
The power is around 40hp. But we have to test the power consumption of the propeller at the propeller's rpm limit. |

Eric,
If you watch the video carefully (the lighting is not too good in the cockpit) you can watch the manual extension. It doesn't appear to require any extreme effort. RC |

If you have "wet wings" we have to search a place on the fuselage for the battery packs. For the price, i am trying to achieve a price of 15.000USD installed. I am looking for other providers for lowering some production and part costs. But now is currently more near the 18.000 installed. Regards |

Emir,
What is the prop diameter? What is the weight of the complete motor assembly? What are the dimensions of the space, which this assembly occupies when retracted? Thanks, Roy |

Thanks, Roy Roy, 1m Prop diameter. Total weight for the self launching configuration is near and below 55kg. Including the structural reinforcement. The motor bay is 1m long, 0,24m width, 0,35m tall at front, 0,25m at the back. |
