Just curious - I ran across an old ad in Sport Aviation
with a Mooney flying feathered prop, above an LS4 - N44SL. I'm curious who was the brave glider driver? |

It was me.
You should see the video. 45 minutes on tow to 12000 agl behind a tri-pacer tow plane and then back on the ground in less than six minutes. Got stuck above the deck once and had to find a "sucker hole" to get down.L/D's matched fairly closely at 104 Knots. Cheers!, Pete "Ken Harry" wrote in message ...
