I am a PPL, IA, working on my CPL. I would like to rent an airplane in
Escondido area. Does anyone know of a reasonable FBO that will rent Piper
PA28-140 to 200R, that you will recommend??

Pacific Coast Flyers out of Palomar has 3 of them. That is who I fly with.
The planes do not have GPS, but are maintained well.

Anybody at CRQ renting taildraggers these days? What is the going
rate? I haven't flown in several years and would like to get back in
the air. I'm just interested in stick and rudder flying though.
Hangar 10 used to have 2 Citabrias and a Decathalon...but Hangar 10 is
long gone.

Yes.

Almost forgot to add.... But since it is a club, there is also a $350+
annual dues. Can not remember the exact annual cost, but that is pretty
close. However, the pilot is named on the insurance policy so that counts
towards something.
