Where can I get data on how much wheel pants might help drag reduction. I fly
a pretty slow plane, and I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. thanks, tom pettit |

And generally speaking, fairings on legs do about as much - or a little more - drag reduction than the wheel pants themselves. my thoughts as well. I'd expect about 5 - 6 knots for the wheels and maybe the same again for the fairings at cruise. polishing the dags off the prop then painting and balancing it won me 4 knots. pitch and dia havent changed.
