Okay,Army guys,
How was the tail rotor of the AH-1S/F Cobra any different from that on an UH-1H Huey? Any difference in chord or diameter? Thanks, HW |

Thanks for that. I know the tail rotor changed sides.
Question is did it get bigger or broader when you got to the S model. HW |

The 42 and 90 degree gearboxes were upgraded to the 212 series. I don't
remember whether the tailrotor itself was enlarged but I think it was, because it was definitely drawing more power. "Helowriter" wrote in message oups.com... Thanks for that. I know the tail rotor changed sides. Question is did it get bigger or broader when you got to the S model. HW |
