Default Searching on Trade-A-Plane

Is there any way to determine how long an ad has been running in TAP?

Not without calling the seller.

Kind of. The last field in the ad is "date last modified" (online version)

Karl - could you give me an example of a search you are using? I'll
try it and see if I get the results you get.

I'm an on-line subscriber and if I search for "taylorcraft" I first
get a one word list (maybe a dozen lines) with the word "Taylorcraft";
when I click on one, it asks for my login/Password; when that's
supplied it gives me the details, but there is no 'date last modified'
..

Try going FIRST to the login page :
http://www.trade-a-plane.com/protect...tic/login.html

Then, after entering your login and password, you can search by type
("Taylorcraft"). This gives you a page with further search options,
including ; List advertisements added in the last "N" days (selectable).
Also, you can list them in order of date. Finally, as mentioned above,
each ad lists "date last modified".

With all this, you have a pretty good vision of how long an ad has been
running.
