Gap Tape

I normally assemble and dis-assemble my glider
each time I fly. As a result, I go through a fair
amount of gap tape each soaring season.

In the past, I have used the 3/4 inch electrical
tape to save on cost. The problem is that 3/4
inch didn't work as well as the 1 inch tape.

I tried several hardware stores trying to find
1 inch electrical tape. I didn't find any locally,
but found a wholesaler who would sell me
25mm by 30meter rolls of pvc tape. Problem
was that that I had to buy a large amount of it
to get it from the wholesaler.

My guess is that I have about a 10+ year
supply of tape at the rate I use it. More than
I need or want.

If anyone wants some, I will sell my "surplus"
for $1.25 a roll plus shipping if you will take
10 rolls at time. It is ok tape, but if you
want a sample, I will send you 1 roll for $3
and I will pay the shipping. Then you will
have an idea of what it is like and know
whether or not you want 10 rolls (at least
a couple of years supply).
