Default Beautiful flying day.

It was a beautiful flying day today in New Jersey. Went up this morning and
the air was smooth, the vis great, the traffic light. Nothing else to say.
Just love days like today.

I will second that. I flew from Portland, ME to Plymouth, MA around 10AM.
Air was smooth, vis was close to 30 miles and all ATC I dealt with were
super despite their being quite busy!
I want to comment on the fss briefing I got...Bangor FSS was efficient, it
too me 21 seconds to get a briefer. Not too shabby.

Was supposed to fly but the plane (PA-28R 200HP) was only available for an
hour, and vapor lock and a weak battery consumed much of that time. Great
day to should-have-flown. :

I have always been impressed by the folks in Portland TRACON. Service with
a smile!
