Default PAROWAN HOUSE OR CONDO RENTAL

I am planning on being in Parowan this June
and July. I am looking for a small house or
condo to lease. Dates are flexible; early August
a possibility.

Default PAROWAN HOUSE OR CONDO RENTAL

Doug,
I would call the airport and talk to Dave the manager. There are a few
local people who have houses for sale who will rent them out weekly.
The housing market seems to be pretty bad there. I did this about two
years ago and paid a small sum for seven days in a nicely (Utah Mormon
Style) furnished house with two bedrooms. But I can't remember the name
of the guy! If Dave can't help you Google for real estate in Parowan
and ask a few agents. It is a small, small community and they should be
able to help you.

Or you should email Guenther Jacobs and he may be able to help. The guy
I rented from is/was Guenther's landlord. Ask Dave how to get in touch
with Guenther. He also rents out rooms in his house and Guenther does
know the area really, really well.

However, if you like to get up where it is cooler the ski resort of
Brian Head is only a short drive up the mountain, maybe 15 minutes, and
they have lots of rentals available during off-season. But beware, when
we were there in late June Brain Head had about 6"of snow one night.

Good luck! Parowan is a fantastic place to fly in my book and beautiful
too!

John
