Default August 1967 Boys' Life

In browsing eBay for soaring-related goods, I have happened upon
several copies of the August 1967 issue of Boys' Life, the magazine of
the Boy Scouts of America. That issue concerns itself with soaring, and
the cover depicts a scout at the controls of a glider in flight, as
seen from the back seat.

Is the soaring article in this magazine worth a read?
