The GPS traces in my log files have what I can only describe as
"position lock" in places where I circle. (See the log file referenced below.) Examining the file contents shows the same latitude/longitude repeating many times, updating once or twice, then repeating many times again, until straight flight resumes. This results in SeeYou reporting erroneous statistics, and WinPilot PRO (used in flight, of course) reporting "Waiting GPS lock..." http://www.asa-soaring.org/contests/logs/66ILHSP1.IGC Any other LX7000 or LX7007 users out there with this problem? The response I got from the factory was "This is a phenomena of the GPS receiver, there's nothing wrong." I've checked the antenna position; it has clear exposure to the sky, including when in steep bank. -ted/2NO |

Last summer there was a NOTAM regarding GPS jamming in the desert
southwest during weekdays. Perhaps they're up to it again? Jim |

If so, they did it only when I was turning, and on the weekend! |
