My 172N has suddenly developed a problem where Flap actuation switch
does not work during 1st 10 degree position and requires lever to be around 12 degree before flaps work. Flap indicator will not return to zero and remains at above 10 degrees. Flaps travel to 40 degrees OK and work well as long as actuating lever is used between say 12 and 40 degree positions. Can the flap position follower cable jam/fail? Seems like something has slipped or stuck. thx, Arthur |
