I have one and it works very well. I have it mounted above the
normal attitude indicator, so the airspeed indicator and altimeter are within my field of view, unlike the turn coordinator. If you are turning to the right, the LEDs on the right light up, increasing with the turn rate. The Tango 2 that I fly has a stick, so the logic I use is move the stick to the left to move the lights back to the middle, and vice-versa. For pitch control, vertical LEDs do the same thing. for your comments re the e-gyro i now have more confidence in laying our the cash for one If it works as well as you say with your fast and high roll rate aircraft then it should be able to handle anything that my 80kts Skyranger can manager. Many thanks from Yarram Australia |
