Well, I went and kicked the tires on the Sundowner.
It is roomy and the two doors are a lot more convienient than the single Piper door. But, to make a long story short, the plane had extensive and recent damage from a landing incident; prop strike, collapsed gear, one wing, fuselage, and tail feathers. Back to looking... -- Jim Pennino Remove .spam.sux to reply. |

A banged up Sundowner with nose strike damage, sounds like someone did not
know how to fly. Where the repairs properly annotated and complete? should have not been a problem then.. BT wrote in message ... Well, I went and kicked the tires on the Sundowner. Too much chance the work was done on the cheap. -- Jim Pennino Remove .spam.sux to reply. |

OWWWWW! 8^( They got a prop strike on a Sundowner? Do you know how hard you have to land to do that? Apparently, when he did whatever he did, he managed to break one gear and the airplane slide into something, hence all the damage. That's all the detail I have. -- Jim Pennino Remove .spam.sux to reply. |
