A Cirrus crashed on approach to Charlotte Douglas Airport this evening at about
1945. I can tell you fairly confidently this one will most likely be weather
related. It absolutely sucks outside this evening.

Reported to have originated at PDK - wonder if it was an AirShares
Elite plane?

Hello AFSE Family,

On behalf of our North Georiga wing leader, Scarlett Auten, I have some sad
news to share. Unforunately, George Vrana, one of our active wing volunteers
and hurricane relief pilots from Atlanta was killed in a plane crash outside
Charlotte. His Cirrus aircraft crashed late Thursday evening.

We ask that all of you keep Georges family in your thoughts and prayers and
they continue during this very difficult time.

Warmest regards,

David M Knies

Chairman

Angel Flight Southeast, Inc.
