I currently have up for auction at eBay a nice copy of "The Physics of
Aviation: An Elementary Text on the Theory of Flight" by the U.S. Naval Academy Dept. of Electrical Engineering, published by the George Banta Publishing Co. in 1944. The 139 page softbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name on the title page. Lower front cover and inside corner page tips are dog-eared a bit, but not too bad. A nice vintage WWII era training text on the principles of aircraft flight for use at the US Naval Academy at Annapolis. The opening bid is $5. Auction closes 8/2/03. A link to the listing is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=2185462 746 Thanks. Dave |
