A 90 minute flight in a Camel (or another aeroplane with a rotary engine) meant ingesting over a tablespoon of castor oil. Apparently blackberry juice was sometimes used to counteract the laxative effect. I don't know if it worked, and I've no intention of trying it to find out. Avsec  |
