I personally still have a lot of trouble with the autofocus looking at a
twig or a leaf and ignoring the aircraft that dominates the viewfinder. I
get my fair share of branches and stuff like that. Those shots are in
alt.binaries.botany and I call myself Bob ^,,^ ?when I post there....

Went to a Japanese New Year celebration today. The Matsuriza Taiko Drummers
from Epcot in Orlando were here again. I got lots of fotos of Japanese in
kimonos and fighting outfits (there were several martial arts
demonstrations). We have a fairly large concentration of Japanese at the
University of West Florida and the culture exchanges are well done. Then we
had the Big Dave pan pizza at Lillian's Pizzaria on Perdido Key. If you
went to school at Pensacola Naval Air Station and didn't eat at Lillian's
then your instructors were not clued in, Tom

~That~ explains the buxom 'flower child' at the door last evening...

Quite a few Japanese students at one of our community colleges here in
Seattle, too. Always refreshingly polite. Will visit Lillian's the very
next time I get down there...
